Mabuhay everyone! We’re still feeling the rodeo spirit from our second quarter PK Holdings General Assembly held last April 5, 2024. With our checkered tops, cowboy hats and boots, we transformed our gathering into a vibrant celebration inspired by the iconic Rodeo Masbateno Festival.
This Festival traces its roots back to the proud cowboy traditions of Masbate, Philippines which celebrates the bravery, skill, and camaraderie of local cowboys and cowgirls as they compete in thrilling rodeo events like bull riding, lassoing, and barrel racing.
The general assembly started with a Flag Ceremony. Afterwards, we then called all the new employees and birthday celebrants to welcome and sing to them.
A savory plated breakfast consisting of fried rice, eggs, and beef tapa was served to the whole PK Family, along with the classic “taho” to kickstart everyone’s day. The celebration did not end there: a special lunch was also served while our talented colleagues took center stage and treated us to performances, showcasing their vocal talents and spreading cheer throughout the room. The event was concluded by a holy mass at the theater conducted by Father Gerard.
A general assembly is part of our ways of doing things and serves as a platform where all Ka-PK unite to strengthen bonds within our organization. Let’s always cherish the importance of actively participating in such activities to ensure our shared goals remain aligned.
